Annick has a degree at the Grands Ballets Canadiens in classical dance, she is specialized in Argentine Tango. She is prolific in many disciplines such as mime, trapeze and other styles.
She teaches extreme stretching for 15 years, which has made her understand the mecanics of the body and has permitted her to resolve many problematic issues with performers.

The Air de Tango Amateur Troupe, allows people to experience a real live show, from its creation to the stage. The project begins with auditions open to dancers with good basic skills in tango. Once the team is ready, rehearsals begin with the creation of two group choreographies. All the while learning those choreographies, the dancers improve their technique, explore new sequences and integrate notions of space, aesthetics, and team work.
Two individual choreographies are created by the dancers themselves. This is a very stressful process, which translate to a deep investment from the dancers. Often frustrating, this method brings them to express themselves truly, by respecting their taste and personality.
Well known artists and professionals in art, show business and healthcare are invited to give specialised workshops to help the group to improve their dance, scenic presence, and body strength.
Some shows and demonstrations are presented to a public during different events, to break the ice before the big show. The final show is presented in a well known theatre to live the real experience on stage, stress guaranteed!
The Air de Tango Amateur Troupe 2009 includes Nicole Raymond, Steve Gagné, Chris Tyler, Debora Rabinovich, Alain Georges, Brigitte L’Heureux, Angela Palumbo, Ian Loyd Georges, Fabian Ninoles, Nathalie Morin, Junyan Boon, Najwa Webhe, Jowel Bélanger, Gregory Swodczyk, Michel Venne, and Marie-Eve Plamondon.
The group is under the direction of Mylène Pelletier, choreographer and director of Air de Tango dance school, she is assisted by Allyson Manta a teacher at Air de Tango.
